GODSMACK Seeks Opener For Louisville Concert

April 28, 2007

Louisville, Kentucky's The Courier-Journal reports that one lucky local band will open for GODSMACK on Derby Eve at the Louisville Palace — and the fans can play a part in picking the winner.

Bands have submitted video clips to 93.1 the Fox. Vote for your fave this weekend at www.foxrocks.com.

The top two vote-getters will be sent to GODSMACK's management Monday and a winner will be chosen to perform a 40-minute set at the show.

GODSMACK recently announced a number of new tour dates to tour in support of its latest album, "IV" (Four),which came out last year.

GODSMACK drummer Shannon Larkin, guitarist Tony Rombola and bassist Robbie Merrill's side project, called ANOTHER ANIMAL, is tentatively scheduled to release its debut disc in September.
